SUCCESSFUL TRANSPORT OF A NEW BRIDGE IN VELBERT

This week, we successfully delivered a new bridge for a branch of the Panorama Cycle Path in Velbert. The project was preceded by more than four months of intensive planning as well as numerous technical and logistical preparations. In the future, the bridge will serve as a safe connection for students travelling to the nearby school. Due to the heavy traffic on the road running beneath it, the construction of the new bridge became necessary.

With dimensions of 36.8 x 6.2 x 1 meters (LxWxH) and a weight of around 40 tonnes, the transport placed special demands on the entire project planning process. In particular, the unusual combination of length and width made route planning especially challenging. Thanks to the close cooperation of everyone involved, the bridge was safely transported to its destination.
