HEAVY TRANSPORT UNDER THE TIGHTEST CONDITIONS – 289 T TRANSFORMER FOR AACHEN

With our side girder bridge G² | K600 and a 289-ton transformer, we once again demonstrated in Aachen that extreme loads can be transported safely even under the most demanding conditions. In heavy transport, flexibility of the fleet is just as crucial as size, length, and weight.

Thanks to the variable configuration options, the transport was carried out using a compact 2 × 10-axle combination. This solution made it possible to handle maximum loads while maintaining the necessary maneuverability – a clear advantage in confined spaces.

The destination was located behind a residential area and posed particular challenges in terms of route planning. A tight 90-degree turn followed by a downhill section had to be negotiated with precision and control. Thanks to our equipment designed for extreme loads, the transport was executed smoothly and safely, even with a compact configuration.

This project once again highlights that even the heaviest loads through the tightest turns are no obstacle for us.
