EFFICIENT HEAVY CARGO LOGISTICS FOR MODERN WIND POWER PROJECTS
We are currently supporting a large-scale wind power project involving the transport of numerous oversized rotor blades over a period of several months. For this purpose, we are using our proven FTV 850 blade transport device, which was specially developed for the safe and flexible transport of wind turbine components.
Precision Work in Heavy Haulage
The rotor blades to be transported have impressive dimensions: 80 meters in length, 4.50 meters in diameter, and an individual weight of approximately 25 tons. Due to their size and shape, these components present unique logistical challenges – both in terms of planning and actual transport.
Thanks to its hydraulic lifting and tilting technology, the FTV 850 enables precise lifting, tilting, and adaptation of the blades to the respective route conditions. This allows for safe navigation through tight curves, height restrictions, and critical bottlenecks – even in demanding terrain.

As the project is scheduled over several months, the rotor blades are transported gradually and in accordance with project needs, closely aligned with construction progress, time windows, external partners, and the client. The FTV 850 not only offers technical flexibility but also ensures high execution efficiency.
